HISTORY

Container Choir is a collaboration between a storyteller (Nic Adams), a clown (Leonie Bell), a composer (Lane Dombois), and a game designer (Christina Tang).

Composer Dombois and Adams began collaborating in 2018, developing his musical, NO ONLY, recording its cast recording, and making music videos. Bell and Tang joined this collaboration in winter 2023 as projection and lighting designers, respectively, resulting in a fully designed album release performance/installation. Since 2024, this quartet has met regularly to devise material.

PROJECT PRESENTATIONS

Our first creation, Project Presentations, is an audience–driven performance inspired by Boal, protest chants, karaoke, cabaret, and clown, that transforms storytelling about scams into extemporaneous song.
